Booking & Appointments

How do I book an appointment?
You can book your appointment in three ways: by calling us at +40 31 099 95 95, by emailing contact@laclavedelacarne.com, or by filling out our contact form. We'll confirm your appointment within 24 hours and answer any questions you may have.
How far in advance should I book?
We recommend booking at least 1-2 weeks in advance, especially for weekend appointments or our wellness programs. However, we often have same-day or next-day availability for certain services. Contact us to check current availability.
Can I request a specific therapist?
Absolutely! If you've worked with one of our therapists before and would like to book with them again, just let us know when scheduling. We'll do our best to accommodate your preference based on availability.
What is your cancellation policy?
We require 24 hours notice for cancellations or rescheduling. This allows us to offer your appointment slot to other clients waiting for services. Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice may be subject to a 50% service fee.

Services & Treatments

What should I expect during my first visit?
Please arrive 10-15 minutes before your appointment to complete a brief health questionnaire. Your therapist will consult with you about your wellness goals and any concerns. We'll explain the treatment process and answer questions. Then you'll enjoy your personalized session in our tranquil treatment rooms.
What should I bring to my appointment?
You don't need to bring anything! We provide everything necessary including robes, slippers, towels, and all treatment products. Just bring yourself and an open mind for relaxation.
How long do treatments typically last?
Massage sessions range from 60 to 90 minutes. Facial treatments typically last 60-75 minutes. Our wellness programs include multiple sessions over several weeks. Spa packages can range from 3 to 6 hours. Specific durations are discussed when booking.
Which massage is right for me?
During your consultation, we'll discuss your goals and concerns to recommend the best treatment. Swedish massage is ideal for relaxation, deep tissue for chronic tension, hot stone for stress relief, and sports massage for athletic recovery. Our therapists can also combine techniques.
Are your products natural and safe?
Yes! We use only premium, natural, and organic products including essential oils, botanical extracts, and plant-based skincare. All products are dermatologically tested and suitable for sensitive skin. If you have specific allergies or sensitivities, please inform us when booking.

Health & Safety

Are there any contraindications for treatments?
Certain conditions may require modified treatments or physician clearance, including pregnancy, recent surgery, severe cardiovascular conditions, skin infections, or fever. Please disclose any health conditions during your consultation so we can ensure safe, appropriate care.
Can I receive treatments if I'm pregnant?
Yes, with modifications! We offer prenatal massage and facials specifically designed for pregnant clients (after the first trimester). Certain techniques and products are avoided during pregnancy for safety. Please inform us of your pregnancy when booking.
What hygiene measures do you follow?
We maintain the highest hygiene standards including thorough sanitization of all treatment rooms between clients, fresh linens for each session, regular equipment sterilization, and strict hand hygiene protocols. Your safety and comfort are our priorities.

Do you offer package deals?
Yes! We offer several spa packages combining multiple treatments at special rates, as well as multi-session wellness programs for ongoing care. Contact us to learn about current package options and find the best fit for your needs.
Do you offer gift certificates?
Absolutely! Gift certificates are available for specific services or monetary amounts. They're perfect for birthdays, holidays, anniversaries, or any occasion. Gift certificates are valid for one year from purchase date. Contact us to purchase.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept cash, all major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express), and debit cards. Payment is due at the time of service unless you're enrolled in one of our wellness programs with special payment arrangements.
Do you offer discounts for multiple bookings?
Yes! Our wellness programs and package deals offer better per-session rates than single bookings. We also occasionally offer seasonal promotions. Ask about our loyalty program for regular clients.

Facilities & Amenities

What amenities are available?
Our center features private treatment rooms with adjustable lighting and temperature, comfortable relaxation lounge, changing areas with lockers, and complimentary herbal tea service. We provide robes, slippers, and all necessary linens.
Is parking available?
Yes, there is street parking available near our location on Bulevardul Eroilor, as well as several public parking areas within walking distance. Our central Cluj-Napoca location is also easily accessible by public transportation.
Can I bring a friend or family member?
While our treatment rooms are private for individual sessions, we offer couples treatments in our special couples suite. Friends or family are welcome to wait in our relaxation lounge. We also offer group bookings for special occasions.

Additional Questions

Do I need to undress for massage treatments?
You undress to your comfort level. Most clients undress completely and are draped with sheets throughout the session, with only the area being worked on exposed. Your modesty and comfort are always maintained. Your therapist will leave the room while you prepare.
How often should I receive treatments?
This depends on your goals. For general wellness and stress management, monthly treatments are beneficial. For specific issues like chronic pain or skin concerns, weekly or bi-weekly sessions may be recommended initially. We'll develop a personalized care plan during your consultation.
What if I'm running late?
Please call us if you're running late. We'll accommodate you if possible, though late arrival may reduce your treatment time to stay on schedule for other clients. Significantly late arrivals may need to be rescheduled.
Can I purchase your products to use at home?
Yes! Many of our essential oils, skincare products, and wellness items are available for purchase. Our therapists can recommend products that complement your treatments and support your wellness goals between visits.
